While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I encountered behind its threshold was disturbing and far below any standard .
The Condition of the Premises : Grimy and Abandoned
From the moment I stepped inside , it was immediately obvious that hygiene was not a priority at Masterson’s . The floors were sticky , and a nauseating aroma of old alcohol and filthy restrooms suffused the entire venue . Reeking of a mixture of human waste, a rotting odor and sickness . The main bar, which should be the centerpiece of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and debris that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The toilet was in even a truly awful state— clogged , with a broken handle and walls covered in what I can only assume was human excrement .
